Policies
- Checker Sedan prefers three hours notification for reservations. But last minute reservations are welcome, provided we have a driver and vehicle available.
- Please let us know if you anticipate a large amount of luggage.
- For the comfort of all passengers, no smoking is allowed in our vehicles.
- Open containers of alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Car seats for children are available upon request.
- ADA-compliant lift vans are also available.
Fees and Charges
- Additional Terminal Fee: $10 (airport drop-offs only)
- Additional Stops: Please call 313.963.1000 for additional stop fees.
- Wait Time (Off Airport): $14 per 15-minute increment, starting the 16th minute
- No Show Fee: Full Fare will be charged*
- Cancellation Within 3 Hours of Pick-up: Full Fare will be charged*
*Does not apply to outbound airport runs.
Checker Sedan also offers Point-to-Point service (not involving Detroit Metro Airport) and As-Directed (Hourly) service, which puts a vehicle and driver at your disposal for a set period of time. Please call 800.351.5466 for a customized rate quote for these other services.
